I’m looking for a coffee maker for college and am a bit overwhelmed with all the brands. I just want a simple, dependable but inexpensive machine. What brands are the best?
Whatever you get save the receipt, the cheaper models have a tendency to quit working sometimes. You will be able to find one on sale within a couple weeks when the stores such as Walmart start advertising for school.
This isn’t the exact one I have, but I have had a Hamilton Beach basic coffee maker in my house for the last two years and it hasn’t let me down! I am also a college student so I use it rather frequently. Price is around 20-30$ I believe. In my house, we have a Mr. Coffee and it’s about ten bucks and it is very dependable for the price. I’ve had it for about 3 years, and we’ve never had any problems. I got mine from walmart. it’s really cheap but it works like magic. You should try it, very inexspensive!

Just your basic Mr. Coffee will do. They’re like $10 at any store that sells small electric appliances.

I have a Sunbeam that I only paid $10 for. You’ll find others that are cheap in stores like Dollar General, Family Dollar and even some drug stores
