Parents and sisters are leaving for a week. I have to stay home because of the dogs. Usually I only am left home for 2-3 days. This time I get 7 days Wednesday morning to Wednesday night. I want to throw a party at my house.
I have done a lot of thinking about it and I have some questions and want some opinions and feedback about my party plans.
Date: It would be Friday night, school ends that Monday .
Party TRhrower: I am currently a freshmen and most people have no idea who I am. I am going to be the person running the show and helping to spread the word, and I have some one lined up to be the face of the party. A senior who has thrown a few good parties and is someone that everyone knows.
Advertisement: Word of mouth and lots of texting. No Flyers- they get the word out but you don’t know who to.
Location: Outdoor party. House will be locked down. We have 15 acres wrapped in a dense tree line.
Bathrooms: Since it will be out doors I know a guy who owes me a favor and will be supplying 3 port-a-potties.
Set Up: DJ will be set up on a trailer
Bands will be set up on a big flatbed truck.
Food and drinks will be set up on 5 separate tables.
Food: I am willing to invest money into this and me and 5 others will be supplying chips, sodas, drinks, pizza, and
Neighbors: currently on good terms with all our neighbors surrounding us. I would inform them of the party and leave a way to contact me in case of noise.
Police: Noise/ Drinks in case of this happening, hope that my parents don’t kill me.
Music: DJ and 3 bands, one country, other to hip hop.
Lights: I have 4 outdoor lights- the big yellow ones that get really hot and are very bright. I have people bringing more for a total of twelve to set up through out the back yard woods and field.
Parking: Should they park in front of the house or the back? The back is secluded and cant be seen if you are coming up our driveway.
Out Back: 50 cars In front: 100+
This would not be a one person party I have friends covering everything I can think of.
DJ- Guy who thinks he’s a pro is in charge of all music including rotating bands.
LifeGaurd: someone to watch out for the people in the pool
Pond Guard: 2 people at each pond to make sure nobody drowns.
Ice- Brings his truck full of ice and is in charge of keeping all beverages cold.
Food: Only other person with access to the house would be in charge of replenishing food twice.
lookout: Placed in the barn at end of our driveway to watch for cops as they survey past. Will have walkie to call up to me
Peace Keepers; 3 guys in charge of getting rid of party crashers, and keep things from getting out of hand.
Parking:2 people to direct people for parking if/when needed.
I have 4 people to replace anybody who quits of wants to leave. also to give lookout 1 hr shift.
I want to throw this party and I know there are consequences to getting caught.
But if you know of any party promblems and what to do with them that would be great.
Also: if any of you have had experience please tell.
In the movies it always shows kids at a party then the cops show up the person lets them in and then they say” drop your cups and go home before we start carding.”
I was wondering is this how it really plays out . I know the cops can’t card everyone but do they try.
