I’m 21. I’d call it a home, but it sure as hell doesn’t feel like one. I might come off as a spoiled brat and I’m sure someone will point that out to me.
Both of my parents are military and I was adopted by them, so that automatically makes them good people right?
Both of them abuse their pets. I ask them to stop. They tell me it isn’t my problem.
Mom and dad fight EVERYDAY. It didn’t used to be like this before. Dads threw some punches at me a few times, and mom will just sit back and watch, but I can defend myself. He drinks and complains to me why I’m not making six figures yet, seeing how he works as a sales associate at a retail store. He has two master degrees and was fired from both of his professional jobs. Teaching & counseling. He was fired for impatience with students and anger problems.
My sister just moved in since her fiance was murdered and I want to be there for her, seeing how she lost her career and her lover, but I’m tired of this toxic environment.
I’m apart of a dojo and I love teaching my fellow practitioners different things in martial arts. Other then that, I have no friends. I get home, lock my door drown myself in music and play guitar. I go to raves with my older sister who is an old school raver, but I haven’t met anyone around my age at most of those raves. I’ve had dates, but no one really keeps in contact with me. I seriously only get calls from my work. That’s it. I miss the city when I commuted. I have some friends down there that miss me from commuting to college, and a few clubs where I’d talk with almost anyone.
I have 4k saved up. I have a car & laptop. I could live in my car? I’m considering getting my associates degree in computer technology, and I could just work on my laptop and move around like some wayfarer. But do I really need an associates degree to get a job online? I know, I need to be careful where I’d find a “job” online..
