I’ve written a couple of songs over the past 3 years. But I can never get myself to finish a song completely. First off I cannot sit down and write lyrics and my songs never have a set structure. I can never get myself to record since I feel they are not ready yet, and even if I try to record, I never feel it’s what I want. I also see it as just a demo, a rough work. I also sometimes think a song i wrote is great, then I think it’s not so great and don’t want to include it in a release. It’s very frustrating. I don’t want it to be perfect but satisfying in my eyes. I don’t know what to do next? When will I ever finish my work? Will I ever finish it…and how will I finish it.
