Are These Good Presents To Give My Parents?

My dad and mom’s birthday is 1 week apart. I’m 14. I was wondering if sound ok to them as birthday . For my dad i will get him a keurig coffee maker (the elite one, he doesn’t like complicated things so no need for the premium.) I am also getting him a variety pack of 60 coffee flavors, a coffee wheel and 10 new coffee cups. He loves coffee. Then for my mom i will get her a $75 longhorn steakhouse gift card and also a $100 kohls gift card and a $100 jcpenny gift card (she loves jcpenny) I have to get her gift cards because she wont tell me what she wants but i know she loves them stores. Am i getting my mom enough and do all the sound like birthday ??

Hi I am 14 as well, the presents you have for your parents are thoughtful and seem like great gifts.
A word of advice though you might want to try balancing your gifts a bit more. You don’t want one parent feeling less loved than the other because the other parent received more gifts. They may not show how hurt they feel but it’s better to be safe than sorry.
For example: If one of your siblings received a plasma screen tv for Christmas, while you received an antique radio, how would you feel?
Please try and imagine how you would feel and try to empathize with your parents.
Good luck by the way and you must be an selfless daughter! I’ve never been able to give my parents a gift at all.

What a wonderful daughter you are!! You know your parents better than we ever will. If both like the things you are thinking of getting them, then I’m sure they will love it! You are so sweet and thoughtful. It is so nice to read a positive question about a teen and parents.
I hope they both have great birthdays! With a daughter like you, I’m sure they will.

I love it how you display the money you are spending so ostensibly… Good gifts but try something else than giftcards – your parents can afford whatever you can. It’s about the thought

Wrong. You should give them your love and support, And your presence. I do it every year :D

Yes, I think they are good presents for your parents. That is enough.
